Scaling results without the Scale
How do you know you are on your way to achieving your fitness goals? Did you take pictures of yourself to see if you are getting more toned? Did your personal trainer put you threw some test to see if you are getting stronger? Or dare I say, did you use a scale and weigh yourself?
Now if you noticed any hesitation in writing the scale comment, you were correct.  I can’t tell you how many times we vhave heard people concerned they haven’t lost any weight and maybe even gained a little weight! DON’T LET THAT SCARE YOU!
FACT #1: Muscle weights more than fat                     FACT #2: Muscle burns calories
When you first start working out or try something new in your fitness program, your body and muscles will be in shock because they haven’t tried this before, or for a very long time. Don’t be scared, is normal to gain some muscle mass before you start burning away those calories. So before you go stand on the scale, think about this. Do your jeans fit better? Has your energy level increased? Did you go down a notch on the belt?
Everybody’s body is different, so don’t try and compare yourself when there is nothing to compare!
