Introducing Fitness on the Go Denver Personal Trainer: Gregory Nunez

Introducing Fitness on the Go Denver Personal Trainer: Gregory Nunez

There’s a new personal trainer in town who helps puppies and used to be almost 300 pounds. He may be your new best friend.

Gregory Nunez recently opened the Denver location of national in-home personal training brand Fitness on the Go. He’s not new to the industry, however–he’s been a personal trainer for the last 15 years. As an overweight teen with high blood pressure and at risk for diabetes, he started working at gyms in New York and wondered if fitness might change his life.

It did. He worked his way up through managerial positions, became a personal trainer, and never looked back. And when there was an opportunity to move to Denver with his wife for a better quality of life, he took it.

Greg doesn’t just train people, though–he also trains dogs. He once worked with the Department of Labor training service dogs for soldiers with PTSD, bomb dogs, and rescue dogs. Now he does it in his spare time.

As if he wasn’t busy enough, Greg will be participating in his first bodybuilding competition August 29 (at the Warrior Classic in Lasalle, CO). This is in between training clients of all ages, sizes and lifestyles.

“I’m looking to help people change their lives,” says Greg. “I want them to be healthier, to do activities they want to do with their kids, their grandkids…to get an education in fitness so it can be a source of information for years to come.”
